"I've been forced to agree. You've proved it enough to where I can't say otherwise." He kissed her cheek.
She grinned at him and squeezed his hand as they left the room. "That's excellent," she said. "I'm glad you're learning."
"No, I think we can definitely have that. I'll have to forget every day. Does that work? Or can you marry me without me having to forget?"
"Hm," she said with a small smile, looking down at their intertwined fingers. "I suppose I'll allow it."
They entered the dining hall, and she looked up at him from the corner of her eye. "You'd be disappointed if we didn't get married? I'm surprised."
She kissed the corner of his mouth with a smirk. "You proposed to me," she pointed out. "So a part of you must love me despite my smart-assery."
