"There has to be some places that you like to go besides work and your apartment," she said, turning on her stomach and resting her chin on his sternum. "You're the city lover of this duo."
"The cafe, and maybe sometimes the top of a skyscraper. The latter is usually when I'm stressed or mad, though."
"Work, people, things. The normal stuff, y'know?" He glanced at her. "It's not often that I do that, though."
"It's okay. People make mistakes. Sometimes really annoying ones, y'know?" He smiled. "I can dismiss them, mostly."
"It's okay. I know you're, like, a fighting machine now, but I'll be able to handle it," he teased, brushing back a lock of her hair.
"Which was no easy feat, let me tell you," she said, kissing his temple. "First we had my crazy ex. Then, we had your crazy ex." She shook her head. "It was tough."
"You shouldn't be proud of that!" Ashe exclaimed, grinning at him. She rested her head on her hand. "He could have died!"
