"Just..." She gave up and punched the bridge of her nose."I just ran into a group of opposing agents last night."
"Did you beat them up?" he asked. He was concerned, but knew she was okay, so was calmer than he would've been.
"I haven't been here before either," she said, shaking her head. "The idea of going to an observatory without you... it was too hard."
"Ah, yes," she said, nodding playfully. "Well, I'm sorry he couldn't be here, but dogs aren't really allowed in the observatory. I'm here in his place, though. I hope that's okay."
She kissed his cheek as they walked into the observatory. "You're my favorite too." The ceiling above them was painted with stars and constellations. There were telescopes set up by windows, and a large archway ushered them to the 'Light Show!'
"It's supposed to be very good," she said, nodding. "Reviews say that it's the best way to look at the stars here."
She pulled his hand and started walking into the show. "Come on," she said excitedly. "Let's go look."
The light show was in a giant dome with reclining chairs that stared up to the ceiling and a large set of lights in the very center. Poppy and Francis found seat, and she unzipped her backpack, pulling out a couple of pillows. "Here," she said, passing him one.
