"It's so cool!" she exclaimed, taking his hand. "Absolutely magnificent doesn't even begin to cover it!"
"I don't even know..." she said, trailing off, looking back at the video with awe in her eyes. "It's so cool..."
Her eyes bright, she took his hand. "I think there's a really big telescope outside," she said. "Do you want to go take a look?"
"Never," she said, her voice breathless with excitement. "We had one when I was younger, but it..." She hesitated, and a little bit of the joy seemed to leave her face. She cleared her throat and shrugged, obviously trying to remain casual. "Well, we lost it in the fire."
"I think so," she said, turning her head to look up at him. She took his hand and squeezed before pulling him towards the telescope.
She grinned at him, the corner of her eyes crinkling. "Thank you," she said quietly, bending slightly to look through the scope. She adjusted it carefully, her eyes wide as she watched. "Look, Craw," she said eventually. "You can see Venus."
