She grinned up at him and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Then I suppose we're in agreement?" she said quietly. "No breaking up?"
She kissed him lightly, her fingers drawing circles on the back of his neck. "Good," she said quietly. "Glad we got that settled."
"You never did," she said quietly. "I've always been yours." She blinked as the headlights from the taxi pulled up from behind him. She gave him one last kiss and pulled away. "Come on," she said. "Taxi's here."
She slipped in with a small murmur of thanks and looked at him with a small grin when he got into the other side. "So, what?" she asked jokingly. "Are you just going to live with me now?"
"No, unfortunately. As much as you would like me to, I need to stay in my apartment for now," he said coyly. "I can spend the night if you want, though."
"Lovely," she said, looking at him lovingly. "I suppose the nation of myapartment will have to remain at a population of 1.5."
"I understand," she said, leaning over and kissing him. "You know, you don't have to stay if it's inconvenient. I don't mind."
She grinned at him as the taxi approached her building. "Good!" she said. "I know I said that I didn't mind, but I'd much rather you stay."
"I know that you prefer him," she said quietly, turning her head to kiss his neck. "But a fish can't hug you."
He would be able to hear the smile in her voice. "Oh, good," she said. "I was worried I'd have to fight him for your affection."
"Fight my fish for affections even though you're already my fianceè?" He laughed softly. "That's odd."
