He raised an eyebrow. "First of all, you're in no shape to beat me up. Secondly, you probably couldn't even if you were."
"Have you forgotten that I'm a grade A badass?" she asked with a cocky smile. "I could totally take you."
"I've trained to fight people for a long time," he commented nonchalantly. "I'd like to see you try."
He placed his hands on her shoulders, then kissed her cheek. "Poppy? Please drink water.. I'm worried about you."
"Hm. Fine," she said, resting her hands on his shoulders and kissing him. "But only because you asked nicely."
"Nah, it's okay. I don't think you know where my glasses are anyway." She walked over to the cupboard and opened it. "Do you want some?"
She turned on the sink and filled the glass. She looked at him pointedly before taking a sip. "Happy now?"
She huffed and set the glass on the counter before walking over to him. "Fine," she said, kissing his cheek.
"Anything for you," she said sarcastically. "So, what are we going to do? You took the whole day off, yeah?"
She looked out at the evening sky. "I should probably head to training soon... You're welcome to come, if you want."
