"At that point I thought of you as a friend, and I still cared about what happened to you." He crossed his arms.
She looked up at him with a small grin, leaning her head on his shoulder. "Wait, really? I was pretty confident you disliked me until we got on the ship after the woods."
She ran her hands up to his shoulder, slipping her hands under his collar. "Oh, my darling," she said, kissing him back. "I'll always love you too."
"Well, I do," he said, looking up at her. "And I can't wait to start a life with you, either. It's going to be fantastic."
He smiled. "I care about you so much," he said. "It's impossible to put into words. Every moment I spend with you is absolutely amazing."
