"Hm," she murmured, resting her head under his collarbone. "I'm absolutely crazy about you. We're getting married in May. I'm meeting your parents next week, and it's going to be lovely. Did I mention that I'm crazy about you? I adore you. Seeing you makes everything better, even if things are already fine. I love you. I love you more than anything. I didn't really think I could love a person this much." She turned to kiss his sternum. "Is that good?"
He rubbed her arm, his touch gentle. "I love you," he said softly. "I know I repeat myself, but I can't help telling you."
She slipped her arms around his torso. "You can never say it enough," she said quietly. "For a while, I thought that I would never hear it from you again."
"I'll try not to next time," he joked. "For now I'll have to say it a bit less, but the meaning is all the same."
She laughed deeply, the movement hurting her ribs and causing her to stop suddenly. "Ah well. It's the thought that counts."
"Sir, yes sir!" she teased, saluting. She disentangled herself from him and returned to the glass of water she had on the counter, taking a sip with a raised eyebrow.
She returned to him, rolling her eyes. "I'm not sure how I feel about this new, bossy Francis," she teased, sitting on the arm on the chair.
She slid into his arms, her legs resting on top of his. "There's a fine line between worried and bossy, Craw," she teased.
