She kissed the top of his head. "It's fine. Normally, I'd appreciate it. Just not while I'm driving."
"Both," she replied. "You always distract me, and I always want to kiss you. Normally I can kill two birds with one stone and just kiss you and allow myself to be distracted. But not while I'm driving."
"For now," she agreed. (Time skip!) A few hours later, they were driving down the road, and Poppy was squinting at the houses she passed. "Is this it?" she asked, preparing to make the turn.
"What is it with our families liking long driveways?" Poppy asked, smiling despite the nerves that she felt.
She smirked and returned her eyes to the road as they approached the house. "Tell me that it will all be okay," she said quietly.
