"Life, especially our life, is fast paced," she told him, her eyes bright with amusement. "It's good to slow down every once in a while."
"You did tell me that you loved me ten hours after we told each other we liked each other," she said thoughtfully. "And you did propose to me about a month after we met."
"Oh, Craw. You know I love every part of our relationship, and I wouldn't have it any other way," she said, looking at him pointedly. "I'm just saying that it was all very fast."
"Don't be," she replied, looking out the window. "I'm generally pretty patient, but you are one thing that I wouldn't want to wait for."
She turned to look at him, a slight smile playing on the corner of her lips before she rested her head on his shoulder. "I love you, you know."
They were quiet for a moment, watching the road ahead until Poppy spoke up. "So, did you spend a lot of time in town when you were younger?"
"Kinda. It wasn't uncommon for me to be there," he said, watching as nice looking buildings passed them by.
She laughed lightly, the sound warm in her mouth. "I still can't believe you played soccer. I would have thought you played... I don't know. Golf, or badminton, or something."
