"Yes," he said, his expression turning playful. "I didn't take you for someone who would stereotype."
She rolled her eyes and kissed his cheek. "I've stereotyped you from the moment I met you," she said. "That's why you surprise me so consistently."
She grinned at him, kissing underneath his earlobe. "Yes, I suppose," she replied. "But we're particularly quirky."
As they entered the town, he looked around. The buildings seemed a bit old, but were kept in good shape. He pulled into a parking spot, then turned to kiss her.
She kissed him back, her hand coming up instinctually to rest against his face. "Payback?" she murmured.
"But see," she murmured, kissing him again, "it's not really payback; I can still kiss you, so this experience is nothing but good for me."
She dimpled, her eyes bright. "I'm not sure that logic follows," she said thoughtfully. "But I'll take it."
She kissed him back, scooting closer so she could wrap her arms around his neck. "Hm," she murmured. "Would you be terribly hurt if I didn't believe you?"
