She followed him, taking his hand. She was instantly in her element, having grown up in woods very similar to this one. "How far in is a cave?"
Her feet traveled the forest floor easily despite the unfamiliarity. "When was the last time you came here?"
"Huh." She was quiet after that, taking in the scenery. Her hand brushed the trees as they passed, her fingertips tingling.
After a moment he paused and leaned down to pick something up. He turned to her and offered her a flower. "It's called a night sky petunia, I think."
"I have no problems with that," she decided, placing the flower behind his ear, her fingers quick and deft. She stole a quick kiss from him and grinned. "You look lovely."
She grinned and intercepted his kiss with her lips. "I'm going to regret that salamander thing, aren't I?"
