She stepped back, pulling him with her, and leaned back against a tree, feeling the bark on her back. She wrapped her arms around his neck, her kisses warm but insistent.
"Am I, now?" she murmured, tiliting her head away to give him better access. "I guess absence does make the heart grow stronger, then."
She sighed against his lips, one hand brushing through his hair while the other rested on the side of his neck, holding him close to her. "This probably isn't allowed, right?" she mumbled with a smile, making no effort to pull away. "No kissing in the woods?"
"Hm. I can't argue with that logic," she mumbled, moving to kiss a line across the bass of his throat, her kisses soft and precise.
Her nose brushed his skin as she moved to kiss the side of his neck, and her actions became more deliberate. Her hand came up to cup the side of his neck, her thumb rubbing small circles into his skin, and her words were punctuated by lingering kisses that brought warmth to the surface of his skin. "I'm terribly in love with you, you know."
She gave him one last kiss and then rested her head on his collarbone, her arms wrapped around his neck. "We should probably head to the cave, yeah?"
She sighed and pulled away from him, taking his hand. Her face was slightly pink, and she brushed her hair out of her face self-consciously. "Alright," she said. "Lead the way."
She was quiet for a while, looking around at the scenery and enjoying the view. "So, is this all familiar to you?"
