Poppy caught up to him, her head cocked slightly. "Cool," she murmured, stepping forward to push aside the vines and look into the mouth of the cave.
She walked over to him and rubbed his back while kneeling, her fingers tracing his spine. "Find anything?"
"Hm," she said quietly. "Well, as you know, I fell madly in love with someone when we were separated. He also knows the real me."
She sighed as if in a dream. "He always took care of me," she said. "He was so brave, and he slept in my bed every night."
