"Alright," she said with a slight shrug. "I don't think I'm ever going to take for granted sleeping next to you, though."
She hesitated. "I haven't spoken to Phos in a while," she said quietly, pressing her fingers to her eyelids as if warding off a bright light. "I don't know. They're not too bad."
She pulled her hands away from her face and looked up at him, her head cocked. "Okay," she murmured. "I'll try."
Her hand came up instinctively to caress his jaw as he kissed her and she smiled slightly against his lips. "Are you ready to face your family?"
She kissed him and sat up, stretching slightly. She pulled her bag onto her lap and began to look through it, blowing her hair out of her face.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and shifted to kiss his jaw, brushing his neck with her fingertips. "We're stalling," she murmured.
