She shook her head, embarrassed. "Ach. I really am sorry, Craw," she said, turning to look at him as they stepped outside.
She leaned into his kiss before wrapping her around his neck and embracing him. "I'll see you soon, yeah?"
"Lovely," she said, giving him one last lingering kiss before pulling away. "Unfortunately, I have to leave now, but I'll see you soon. I love you."
She squeezed his hand before letting go and turning on her heel to walk down the street, her hands in her pockets.
(Time Skip!) Poppy grunted as arms encircled her waist. She kicked backwards and twisted out of his grip, landing firmly on her feet. She turned to confront the attack, and pulled his arm over her shoulder, flipping him over, yanking his arm up, and keeping her foot on his chest, rendering him incapacitated. Derrick coughed and looked up at her with a grin. "Good one." She let him go and rubbed her elbow. "Again, please." He sighed and stood up. "Fine. Last one." Poppy put her hands to her eyes and waited for Derrick to position himself someone around her. She heard the click that signaled the start, and she dropped her hands. He wasn't immediately in front of her, so she kicked forward to give herself more room. She cocked her head as she heard him step forward, and she swept her leg out, hoping to trip him. He caught her ankle however, and flipped her over. She grunted as she hit the ground and repositioned herself, kicking him in the shin. He gasped, and her other foot kicked him in the wrist, forcing him to let go. She stood up, grabbed his arm, and wrenched it back. "Ah.. Ah! Okay. You got me."
Poppy didn't notice him at first, letting go of Derrick and stepping back. Derrick had dark brown hair and copper eyes, with a slight stubble growing on his faces, and he rubbed his arm as he stood up. "Ow," he said reproachfully. Poppy cocked her head, rubbing the back of her neck sheepishly. Small curls had escaped her ponytail, and she tugged on them thoughtfully. "Sorry," she replied, finally crossing her arms. He sighed and noticed Francis with a curious look. Poppy followed his gaze, and her whole face lit up. "Oh! That's my fiancé. Thanks for the help tonight, Derrick," Poppy said, "I appreciate it." She left his side and hurried over to him, a grin spreading across her face. "Hey, you!"
