"Let's go to bed," she said decisively, standing on her tiptoes to kiss him. "Even though planning is lovely."
"Alright," she said, pulling away from him. She folded the blanket and put it on the back of the couch. Turning off the music, she picked up her book and put it back on the shelf, her fingers quick and precise.
Poppy fed Tom and turned off the light in the kitchen. "Let me know when you're done changing, okay?" she called out to him.
He was now wearing pajamas and sitting on the edge of the bed. He looked up at her, his head cocked slightly.
