(Zoom!) When they left, the sun had sunk quite low in the sky, and it was painting the world with a golden pink light. Poppy was excited, her eyes bright. "I will never be able to get over that Shostakovich exhibit," she said, squeezing his hand.
"It is beautiful," Poppy agreed. She gave him a small smile. "Our relationship seems to have a lot of influence from the sky, doesn't it?"
She squeezed his hand. "So, your final part of your perfect day was taking a walk through the city at nighttime. Does right about now work?"
He looked around, then gave her a nod. " It does. I have one request though," he said. "When the sky is black, and all the lights turn on, we go back to the clock tower and see the view again."
She squeezed his hand as they began to walk, watching the town prepare for the night. "Would you want to live in a place like this?"
She paused thoughtfully. "Well, you know I'm not a city girl. But I think that as long as we had a yard, I'd be fine."
