"Hm," she replied affectionately as they began to drive down her street. "You're staying at my house tonight, right?"
She pulled up beside her building and turned the keys in the ignition, stretching slightly. She brushed her hair out of her face before leaning over to kiss his cheek. "Ready to head in?"
"Mmhmm," she said, stretching in the driver's seat. She unbuckled herself and slipped out of the car, coming around to his side and waiting for him.
The car beeped as she locked it, and she took his hand as they started up to her apartment. "Tom will be happy to see us," she said conversationally.
She laughed deeply as they got to her floor. "I swear, Craw, if we ever break up, it will be over our fish versus dogs debate."
They came into her apartment, and she shut the door behind them before going to hang up her bag, rubbing the back of her neck. "Do you want cheesecake?" she called over her shoulder.
She rolled her eyes before walking over to the fridge, nudging open the door with her hip and pulling out the cheesecake.
