"Maybe we are," she said, her voice quietly furious. "But, if the roles were reversed, I would never be so condescending as to call two grown adults children because of an important decision they were making. I would try being a supportive friend, rather than getting involved in personal business." She tugged on a curl angrily, and shook her head, stepping away from the table. "I'm going on a walk. I'll see you later." Without another word, she walked away, her right hand flicking at her side at an invisible annoyance. The cafe door jingled with a small bell as she left, and she set off down the street. "She always was so stubborn," Phos muttered under his breath.
He crossed his arms. "You do agree with me that it's crazy, though, yes? It's reckless, and irresponsible."
