"Aw," he muttered. "But I guess not good enough to sleep on the bed. Picky picky picky."

 

"I wouldn't mind Tom sleeping in the bed," Francis said matter-of-factly. "Fish have feelings too, though."

 

"Then Tom is a bad dog for eating Finn. Nobody eats Finn."

 

He huffed jokingly.

"Fine."

 

"I dunno, actually," he said. "Tom is fluffy, so it wouldn't be too bad."

 

"Honestly, I wouldn't mind him sleeping on the bed."

 

"Yes," he said agreeably. "Even though Finn can't sleep in the bed, he still deserves equal treatment."

 

"You have to play with him," he said, a grin crossing his face.

 

"Obviously fish play tennis," he said. "So you have to set up the court and play tennis."

 

"I don't," he said. "Finn does."
