"You too," she said, slipping on her trenchcoat before putting her hair back. She blew him a kiss with a teasing grin before leaving the room, closing the door behind her.
There was no answer, but there was a flask on the table, the one that generally held her medication. It was empty.
"Francis!" she exclaimed, delighted. "I... I had to go buy.... something. I'm walking down the street right now." She paused before speaking again. "These guys have been following me. I think they want the... thing I bought. One second." There came the sound of her pulling her phone away from her ear. "They're my onesies!" she called to them. "Don't even think about taking them."
"Walking down the street," she sang. "I have a gift for you. Betcha can't guess... hold on, Francis, I might need to call you back." She pulled the phone away from her ear again. "They sell them just down at the grocery store down there! It's buy one get three free!"
