"Me? Oh, no," she said, shaking her head. She poured the batter into the pan before turning to him, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him lightly. "I just have tested on a few recipes. That's all."
She rolled her eyes before giving him one last kiss. "Go shower," she chided playfully. "Instead of poking fun at my livelihood. These will be ready when you get out."
She placed the aebleskivers on a plate and grabbed the powdered sugar, dusting them quickly. She got a little on her nose, but didn't notice, opening the fridge to get some juice.
She glanced up as he entered, a small smile on her face. "Welcome back!" she said cheerfully, making her way over to him.
She blinked, crinkling her nose slightly at his touch. She paused before giving him a small smile, giving him a quick kiss. "You can sit down. They're almost ready." Spoiler: Aebleskivers!
She brought over a plate, sliding it in front of him and kissing the top of his head before returning to the kitchen. "Do you want juice or something? I picked up some at the market the other day."
She came over with a glass of orange juice, placing it on the table in front of him. "What are your traditions, Craw?" she asked curiously, sitting next to him and resting her head on her hands. "For Thanksgiving, I mean."
