She shook her head with mock disappointment. "What a pity. We'll have to make new traditions for you, then."
"Like..." She paused, her gaze moving around the room to look for inspiration. They landed lightly on their breakfast and she grinned. "Like aebleskivers!"
"For Thanksgiving? We had these lanterns when I was little," she said thoughtfully, drinking her tea. "We wrote about what we were thankful for on them before letting them go." She paused before looking at him with a grin. "Kinda corny, I suppose, but I always liked them."
She grinned at him cheekily. "Yes, well," she said, stretching. "Tradition is pretty important to us."
She grinned before finishing her tea, standing up to clean it. "Do you know how to cook Thanksgiving dinner?"
