"Well, how do you expect people to respond?"
“I don’t know! Bursting into tears and blubbering?”
".. As a reaction to a compliment?"
“It’s a lot of pressure, okay? This can be avoided by just not complimenting me.”
"But I want to compliment you."
She sighed in frustration, running her fingers through his hair. “Stooop. Before you drive me mad.”
He groaned. "You're ridiculous."
“That’s better,” she murmured, pulling his mouth to hers.
"And you drive me crazy," he said quietly. "But I love you."
“Crazy, huh?” she teased, kissing the corner of his mouth. “Is that a good thing?”
He paused as a sly grin crossed his face. "Crazy for you."
She laughed, shaking her head as she shifted to kiss his jawline. “That was awful.”
Hs grinned playfully. "I know.'
She watched him for a moment before beaming. “I don’t hate awful, though.”
He smiled. "Thats better."
She rubbed her thumb against his cheekbone thoughtfully. “I love you too, by the way.”
He gave her a kiss. "I'm glad."
Her smile grew and she stretched slightly in his arms. "We should go do something."
He cocked his head. "Like what?"
"I don't know. Go to the roof and jump off or something."
