Poppy kissed Tom's head before singing under her breath, grabbing the dog's paws and dancing with him as the soup bubbled on the stove. "Your love's got me looking so crazy right now.."
She glanced up at him, pointing at him with one hand, mouthing along to the one song. "Looking so crazy in love's got me looking, got me looking so crazy in love.."
She put down Tom's paws, beaming at him. The dog padded off, unbothered. "Got me looking so crazy, my baby, I'm not myself; lately I'm foolish, I don't do this."
She laughed deeply, her arms coming up to wrap around his neck. "And, baby, you're making a fool of me, you got me sprung and I don't care who sees..." she sang quietly in his ear.
She grinned, meeting his gaze for a moment before kissing him, her fingers grazing the back of his neck. "I love you."
She kissed him again before returning to the stove, taking a ladle from the drawer and a bowl from a cupboard, pouring the soup and passing him the bowl.
