Poppy and Penelope exchanged glances. "Well, yes," Penelope said hesitantly. "When you get better, you can go out on missions."
Poppy bit her lip and averted her eyes. Penelope cleared her throat and sighed. "Anyway. See you in a few hours, Abernathy."
"Bye, Penelope," Poppy replied quietly. Penelope studied them for a moment before leaving, the tent flap swinging behind her.
She crossed her arms, her head tilting as it always did when she was feeling stubborn. "It can be hard to tell."
