“Hm. I love you too. Even if you hurt me terribly sometimes.”
He kissed her cheek. "I don't mean to."
She crawled onto the table, kissing him lightly. “I’m sure.”
He grinned brightly. "Great."
She frowned, her fingers in his hair. “That was sarcasm, Craw.”
"I know," he told her, "but you kissed me again."
“Because I like you too much to avoid it.”
He chuckled, his head cocking. "So you didn't kiss me because I apologozed?"
“No. I just could stay away,” she teased, brushing his cheekbone with her thumb.
He kissed her nose. "No. Stay with me."
“Hm. Fine. Only because you asked nicely.”
He kissed her forehead. "Thank you."
“The things I do for love, Craw.”
He gave her a big kiss on the cheek. "I'm lucky to have you."
She laughed, turning on her stomach to look down at him. “Even though I manipulate you?”
He chuckled, nodding in agreement. "Even then."
“That’s true love right here.”
He smiled at her brightly, his eyes warm. "We were meant to be. Don't you think?"
She kissed him deeply, her fingers brushing his hair. “I do.”
He flushed slightly. "Good. I'm glad."
