“Well, you make me blush,” she replied logically, shifting to kiss his neck. “Maybe it’s a couple thing.”
She sighed reluctantly, trailing her kisses back to his lips, punctuating her words with them. “I. Have. To. Go. Do. My. Job.”
“Hm. Don’t push yourself too hard. Do what you can.” She stood up, pulling away from him reluctantly.
She squeezed his hand before heading for the tent door, pulling away from him. She glanced back and gave him a small wave before leaving, the flap fluttering closed behind her.
Poppy peered into the sleeping tent hopefully before a wide grin crossed her face. She crept over to him, her feet soft against the tarp.
