She frowned, looking down at her arms before squinting up at him suspiciously. “You took off my coat?”
“Because there’s nothing to be done,” she replied, standing up. “It happened and I knew you’d just worry about it unnecessarily.”
"Yeah, but I would have worried less if you had just told me." He crossed his arms. "Why wouldn't I worry?'
“You would. You would worry. You are worrying. This is precisely why I was trying to avoid this conversation.”
“I should if they’ll only cause you worry,” she replied, turning to look out to the snowy street. “And you should trust me enough to take me by my word.”
She turned to look st him suspiciously before sighing and returning to his arms, breathing in the scent of his cologne. “Yeah. I’m sorry too.”
