She rubbed his back, kissing his cheek. "It's alright. You don't need to worry. I'm fine. I'm alright. I'll always be alright."
She nodded, satisfied before taking his cold hand in one of her warm ones. "Come on. Let's head back."
She glanced up at him with a small smile. "It was, wasn't it? We should run from the police more often."
She squeezed his hand as they headed to the apartment, climbing the stairs as Tom padded behind them. "What are we doing when we get back?"
