She rubbed the back of her neck uncomfortably before standing up and coming over to him. "Did you sleep well?"
She frowned, crossing her arms uncomfortably as she leaned against the wall. "I had a really weird dream," she recalled. "You were..." She hesitated before laughing self-consciously. "I don't know. I guess my brain is just weird, but you were lying to me about something. I don't remember what. I think it was multiple things." Her gaze flickered up to him nervously. "They started off as small, innocent lies, but they soon escalated and you were lying about everything until eventually, you would say that you loved me and I wasn't sure it was true."
He frowned, brushing back her hair. "I'll have to be honest with you.. I went out to get the medicine."
She pursed her lips before reaching up to kiss his cheek. "I appreciate it, my darling. But I'm fine. I'm always fine."
She gave him a wry smile, stepping away to put space between them. "It's not that bad. I didn't really let myself get sick as a kid."
