"Yeah," she said, running a hand through her frizzy hair. "I'm okay. What were you doing?"

 

She frowned at him, cocking her head.

"Francis..."

 

"Francis, you said you wouldn't."

 

“Couples are able to speak telepathically. I’m surprised you didn’t pick up on that.”

 

“Francis Craw,” she scolded, shaking her head slightly. “I have never been more hurt.”

 

She wrapped her arms around his neck, shaking her head.

“How dare you try to help around the house and further cement yourself as the greatest man who has ever lived. Tsk tsk.”

 

“Ach! And now you’re being considerate and sweet? How could you?!”

 

Her fingers lightly brushed through the back of his hair and she planted a line of kisses on his neck.

“Never.”

 

She smirked before slipping off the bed to stand up.

“You should sleep...”

 

“I’ve slept all day while you’ve worked. Sleep.”
