She folded her arms smugly, leaning forward to kiss just under his earlobe. "You've hurt me too badly."
She laughed deeply, glancing at him out of the corner of her eye. "But we both know that's not true. Should I bite your ear again?"
She pulled into the parking space and turned off the car, turning to him with a raised brow as she opened the door. "And I want to have breakfast with you too, my darling. But you seem to dislike something and I'm curious as to why. Isn't that what people do when they eat together? Make conversation?"
"I know it's not, but you do enjoy it. And if I were to threaten you with it, it would kind of defeat the purpose of a threat. Same goes for the ear thing. If you truly enjoy it, then I'm not really threatening you with it."
