She raised an eyebrow, her eyes playful. “You said you know me, right?”
"I know you, but you should get something surprising and new."
“Would you get something surprising and new? We were just sick.”
"So? I say surprising and new."
“Does that mean I get to order for you?”
"Hmm.. Sure."
She dimpled, leaning back. “Lovely. In that case... do you want French toast?”
"You're supposed to be picking, not me!"
“Okay, but you and I have almost opposite tastes.”
"I suppose I will get an omelette for you."
“And I will get you pancakes.”
"I can work with that."
“I happen to know that you love pancakes.”
"I'm not sure if you like omelettes, but it's new."
“It doesn’t matter. I like you.”
"But do you like omelettes?"
She said nothing, giving him a sly smile.
"Well, since you won't answer me, that's what I'm getting you."
“Alright, then,” she said primly, folding her hands.
He raised an eyebrow. "You're being incredibly vague."
