"Please do," she said as they entered the main room. "I'm a light sleeper, so I should be able to hear it." She laughed slightly, pushing her hair off her face. "If all else fails, you could try to message me again, although preferably with recognizable words this time."
She chuckled as they turned down their hallway, her posture relaxed and easy. "Uh huh. Keep telling yourself that." She stopped by her door and turned to him, her eyebrow raised. "See you in a couple hours?"
"Yeah." He nodded. "Couple hours," he said, then turned and went to his room, sitting on the bed for a few moments, deep in thought.
Poppy unlocked her door and entered her room. She closed the door behind her and leaned against the door, a hint of a smile playing on her lips. Finally, after a minute or so, she went into the bathroom to go change into her pajamas. (Time skip?)
Poppy opened the door, squinting in the sudden light, a small smile playing on the corner of her mouth. She wore a navy blue tank top, and a simple pair of pajama shorts, and she pushed some curls out of her face easily.
Francis awaited outside, this time he brought his own blanket. His hair was slightly messy, and he wore a white T-shirt with long pajama pants. He looked, dare I say, normal. "You ready?"
She grinned at him and nodded. She stepped outside of the room, closing the door behind her. "Let's go."
He began making his way to the observatory, trying to remember the past route. Once they got there, he opened the door for her.
Poppy stepped through the door with a small mumbled 'thank you.' Once again, she stepped into the room, and it took her breath away. Her blanket was still crumpled by the wall from where she had left it the previous night, and she retrieved it quietly, wrapping it around herself as she returned to him.
Francis sat on the floor, looking back up. "I'm going to find more constellations. It'll happen eventually."
She sat next to him, pulling her knees up to her chest. "Do you want some help?" she asked, her gaze set on the sky above them. She was already able to pick out a few, and she smiled to herself.
"I think I could use some. I'm... Not quite the best at this," he said, his voice quiet as he searched.
"Hmm," she said vaguely before focusing on one bunch. "Aha! There are the Twins! See? Right there?" Her hand came out and pointed up at the sky, her fingers finding them with ease. (I think I'm off to bed for a little while. See you tomorrow!)
"Hmmm. I think I see it? I'm not sure." He was actually trying to find it, but got distracted most of the time when he remembered shooting stars. (Goodnight! My friends and I are going for another Skype record haha.)
(Ah! Good luck!) "It's a little tough," Poppy said, wrapping the blanket tighter around her body. "They look a little bit like two stick figures, but without the heads."
"Is it? I didn't think I could find it, considering how many stars there are," he said, smiling slightly. After a moment, he was quiet, once again searching. He paused then spoke up after thin streak of light passed by quickly. "I think I just saw a shooting star."
