He chuckled, somewhat embarrassed. "Ah.. No. That one is from my head."
She kissed the corner of his mouth, her hands on the side of his neck. “I love original boys.”
"I thought you thought it was cheesy."
“Eh. Maybe I like cheesy,” she replied.
"Do you now?"
“Well... I like you. So, if you’re cheesy...”
"By transitive property.."
She laughed, evidently delighted. “Precisely.”
He chuckled. "I see."
“You’re turning out to be a nerd.”
"I am not the nerd here, Poppy. I got it from you."
“Are you saying I’m contagious?”
"Yeah, pretty much."
“In a good, cute way, or a gross, sickly way?”
"A good, cute way."
She laughed lowly, brushing his hair out of his face. “You flatter me.”
"That's my goal," he teased.
“It’s a noble one. I’ll simply have to return the favor.”
"Oh, really?"
“Mmhm. It’s in the rules.”
