The jumpers were one of the most symbolic things about 9/11. The image of the two holding hands while falling, it was just so sad, yet touching.

EDIT: Dwynter, I think you mean Al Qaeda.

    Oh, I forgot.

I was about four when it happened, so I remember just about nothing about it. :S

Except I remember hearing about how people crashed planes into a building. That's about it.

Unfortunately, I'd have to say that I don't feel a particularly powerful source of grief at all... I tend to feel apathetic towards anonymous deaths. Unless the situation is particularly sad, or they have traits that I can relate to. But of course, being anonymous, I know pretty much nothing.

I don't really get how religious beliefs would get you to kill people, but I don't dwell upon other religions much.

CC, Los Angeles has been so heavily fortified from Terrorist attacks since 9/11 it's not even funny. Not to mention they have additional support to help resist against earthquakes.

I hope nothing bad happens tomorrow, I really don't want to think about it.

With the way security is at airports now, I think that it's going to be just fine. This weekend has been exceptionally... annoying, with the amount of extra security going on. :sigh:
So much for visiting my Grandfather.

More likely targets would be Football Stadiums and the such; possibly power plants.

Ahh, that's a difficult topic in here...
Although I don't live in the USA, I can clearly remember that day.
It always distresses me when people can't respect the gift of life and consciously take that life from others.
It especially shocks me when it's done on such a big scale. Why the hay people need to divide, to fight each other? Why innocent people are the victims...?
It's so sad... Actually can't find the words... describing my grief and frustration...
The only thing I can do is to honor the memory of these people, who died that day and hope that such horrible event will never occure again.
