I am a huge Survivor fan and I am probably still a bigger Survivor fan then MLPFiM, but only because it has been around a lot longer and has now 23 seasons. I would like to know who else loves this show and maybe start a discussion thread about it. So first of all I would like to say that I was absolutely thrilled that Cochran not only made it past the first episode, but only recieved 1 vote! NERDS FTW! He is the best nerdy player since Kenny from Gabon. I doubt Russel's Nephew will be able to hide his secret for long, I bet he will be exposed next episode and I can't wait to see everyone's reactions. As for the returning players I am rooting for Ozzy. Oh and fun fact, Survivor 23 premièred the day before MLP Season 2. Sigh 2 favourite shows at once, too much awesomeness!
Crap, I forgot it premiered...I gotta get back on track. Yeah, I'm a fan and I think I'm one of the few who actually liked Boston Rob. Yeah, he was a prick most of the time but he knew the game perfectly. I'm glad he won last season....just don't let him show up again, he got his happy ending...
I liked Boston Rob too, he played one of the perfect games I've ever seen and I enjoyed every moment he was on screen, although he's not the kind of person I would hang out with in real life. (Spoiler Alert for episode 2) I've seen the second episode and I already hate Brandon more then Russel Hantz, because his reasons for hating Mikayla are stupid. In fact I think he is stupid. I was willing to like this guy despite his uncle, but he is such a self-rightous buffoon that he is going to make his family name worse. Russel was an *squee!* and immoral, but at least he was straight up about it and owned his villian status with pride. He is also more intelligent then he looks. Brandon is a villian despite constantly stating that he is a Saint and doesn't realise how immoral he is being because he is as stupid as he looks. Russel was an enjoyable villain to watch, Brandon makes me sick. Cochran is still my favourite and although he is still not proving to be very useful in challenges, he is such a nice pony, I mean guy. Soooo looking forward to episode 3, almost as much as episode 3 of MLP.
Gonna jump in here real quick, I didn't even know this show was still on TV. I haven't watched it since 2004 I think. I kinda just got bored with the show after that. Unless they do survivor the moon, I won't watch it ever again. That's all I got to say, leaving now.
Fair enough Pixel, I would just defend the show by saying that they do keep it interesting. So many new elements have been added to it to cause new conflicts and mixing up the game. Such as -Hidden Immunity Idols -Redemption Island -Exile Island -Returning Castaways -Getting thrown onto the island unexpectedly with formal clothing. -Starting Tribes being Old vs. Young, Men vs. Women, 4 tribes etc. Anyway I could go on for ages, but you probably won't read it.
