Plague looked at Cydonia and smiled. “Glad to see that someone remembers me. My real name is Midnight Dusk but I prefer to be called Plague at the moment, not to mention that i have changed my appearance to suit my new persona the princess gave me. Her newest student isn’t as powerful as the reports say she is, I could destroy her in seconds if mother didn’t order the restrainers on me.” Plague then looked around at the prisoners, noticing their characteristics and power and began to forge an idea “The best I can currently do at the moment is levitation, maybe I could get the keys down from the wall over there. It’s an old system where the guards leave the keys up on the wall to avoid losing them. Practical yes but it’s not genius . If this works, maybe we can continue our relationships. I know what everypony here really wants... Revenge.
Dark observed the Walls and bars before speaking. "Defeat and failure, are just words. Victory and power are also just words. To truly be strong, you need to see the light and rise from the darkness where you have fallen. Though it seems you lot have forgotten the ladder". He sighed again speaking this time in an ancient tone. "Rexyhuga, dodo tyro Solaris par lunaris seact. Delph".
She listens to Dark for the entirety of his piece. Her eyelids lowered, her mouth was slack, her entire expression was that of utter disinterest with just a hint of annoyance. "Shut up." Cydonia told him. "Don't speak until you have something to add." She then turns back to face Plague, only flicking back when he mumbles 'tyro'. "I'm sorry Midnight but words through bars loose their charm. I'll believe you can give me whatever I want when you can prove it." She then attempts to see what was down the corridor. She could hear other voices calling out, catching the occasional word from them. "What is part of your anatomy? A long tail? Three eyes? A second horn? We can't see it, deary!" She calls down the corridor, giggling. Hooves are heard far off, coming nearer.
Dark noticed a guard coming down the hallway. "excuse me, can I request a cell change. I was Celestia's student once. You know the one from the myths about a colt that played with portals".
"How's your reign coming along?" clicked back V to Cydonia. She clicked the mandibles, and flew up to the ceiling, pressing herself against it. She scoffed in irritation. "They can't do this! Some of us need pure light to live!" she complained. Her mandibles attempted to snap the bars. While they did get some bite marks, it remained strong. V hissed, and began to walk in circles, chattering to herself in an unknown language. Probably because it was mostly in chatters, clicks, hums, and buzzes.
Faux watched standing up straight again. "Its not easy.." then spoke to herself, "I wonder if I could fit through these in fox form" she wondered.
Cydonia flicks her gaze back at Dark. "Then by all means, leave. Don't stay on my account." Then, just as the perfect put down was just on the tip of her tongue for the voice further down, the guard rounds the corner at the end of the corridor. She falls silent. The armour glints with the light of the torches on the walls. The golden metal across his shoulders and head quietly rattle with every hooffall. The keys he carries are equally loud, jangling from a mounted reel of string with a small mechanism attached. Cydonia glares at Plague, mentally urging him to follow through with his promise.
V butted her head against the bars, hoping to distract the guard. "For changeling's sake!" she complained. "Let us out!"
"calm down, resistance only makes your sentence worse. I'm only here because I seemed and found knowledge. Not immense power like most of you". He was starting to get annoyed at cydonia. So much he used a portal to get to an empty cell. "aka'mo, I'm not doing that again". He then just laid down on the straw matress. Resting his head. Trying to block out everyone else.
"You're an idiot." said V, still trying to distract the guard. "If we don't have resistance, what do we have? 'Give me liberty or give me death!'"
Faux sat back in her corner, the sound of chains dragging across the stone floor followed behind her. She stayed in the far back of the cell waiting, watching for the guard that dare showed his face.
The guard eventully walked into the room and began to survey the room. Plague looked at the guard directly into the guard's eyes to gain his attention. The guard looked at him in disgust, "What are you looking at freak, did Celestria forget to put you back into the dimension from which you were imprisoned originally." This was merely part of Plague's plan, he just had to distract the guard so that he could make him drop his keys and if possible, knock him out unconscious with a mind stopping spell. He just continued to stare directly into his eyes as he now began to focus on the guard's mental state. "It's no wonder that Celestria wiped out the Alicorns, it was to stop freaks like you." the guard then turned around to point to every other Alicorn in the room. "And you!, and you!" when his back was turned, Plague took his chance and levitated the keys from the guard and hid them underneath the pillow quickly and silently. The Guard then looked back at Plague, he was furious now. "Nopony could ever forgive what you did after. You slaughtered Millions upon Millions of ponies and attempted to usurp the throne twice." the guard then had a smug smile on his face. "Get comfy Plague, you're going to spend the rest of your life in here." The guard then began to walk away until he reached the door when he heard Plague call for him. "Guess what.....Goodnight" he said. The guard then looked at him strangely. "What are you talking ab-" he was stopped mid sentence when he collapsed unto the stone floor lifelessly. Now with the guard dealt with, Plague levitated the keys to open his cell and open the other cell's one by one. Starting with Cydonia since she was the nicest towards him.
Faux began to leave but was stooped by the chain. "They have me locked." She said. She tried to shake her back hoof free but the shackle only held on more and more. She grumbled at her stupidity and shifted to a fox letting the shackle fall to the floor making a loud clank.
Dark was meditating when all this happened. As his door was opened he stepped out. He turned to plague. "from one of Celestia's old students to another. We should confront her together. Let the others do what they wish but we should head to her first".
"If you wish to be thrown back down here faster than Celestia can draw enough breath to laugh at you, go and find her." Cydonia adviced Dark as she pushes her cell door open. She trots out, stretching her legs and neck. Her face was beeming. "As a Princess of Steam Peaks, I prefer to put my faith in metal rather than magic. But even I know that neither of you are where you should be magically. Those shackles around your horns and wings are stunting your power. I doubt that spell you used on the guard would take that long to perform. In fact, I know you've been building the energy for weeks. They are built in ky Kingdom." She struts between them. "No, no. You need to run and hide for now. Currently, you are no more powerful than those termites you mentioned. But I have a few strings we can pull. Maybe an aliance would be best." Cydonia looks towards V. "These days, the Royals have too many friends. They find groups of these strange ponies that manage to topple us some how. Law ponies, magicians with special agancies, random no ponies." She looks in on Faux and recoils a little before turning back to the group. "Even a fox is making us look like fools. I say that's enough. Celestia has had a long enough reign, so we will take her down when we are at our strongest. We should empty this place of everything she wants hidden away and set it free while we wait to strike just at the right point." She raises a hoof: "Who's with me?"
V looked at Cydonia, carefully. "You do know that when everything is done, none of us will hesitate to stab each other in the back?"
Faux growled and shifted back, "well sorry for being what I am." A sudden hatred for Cydonia grew but Faux shoved it aside. "And I'm with V on this one."
Savior wakes up at the sound of opening doors and the clatter of hooves. Didn't take them long, he thought as he stretched his legs out. May as well make myself noticed, don't wish to be left behind. He gets up and walks to what he supposes is the bars and taps on them a few times. "Mff phuphffa ffm mpfpmpf" he says lightly. He taps slightly harder to make sure he got their attention and waits at the ready.
Faux heard the clanking and went over to the source of the noise, she opened the door and let the pony inside out. She didn't say or do anything, just simply let him out. She glanced down the corridor that leads to the throne room and listened for any guards. A faint sound of laughing guards came from deep in the hall but they were far enough not to notice the escaping villains. "If we're gonna escape we should do that now" she said back to Cydonia.
