“Hello Julion, My Name is Crimson Darklight Lionheart, The King of Diamonds of Los Pegasis and now one of New Equestrias Ally’s.” Crimson began. “I have been discussing with Caesar here about my city being a part of New Equestria and I have used my army of Upgraded securitrons into New Equestrias arsenal, My Strongest weapon is being upgraded at this very moment.” “Ive heard of you Julion, your combat experience is very impressive, as if equal to Littlepip’s or myself in my youth… but that was centuries ago now so I don’t want to make you bored. Tell me what is on your mind, is there anything I can assist you with?” Crimson asked Julion.
"No." Julion said, "I am happily enjoying my time, drowning myself in cider, bored to death from the lack of contracts. Anyways, you said my combat exprience was 'close' to Littlepip? That little mare ain't got half the combat I do! I was with her from Tenpony to the Day of Sunshine and Rainbows, hell, I even brought her back from the S.P.P! Anyways, I'm sure Celestia would love your offer. One second." The hologram went blank and then the face of the Goddess Celestia herself came onto the screen, "Ah hello King Crimson Darklight Lionheart. Strange, you have the middle name of the full name of one mare from before the war that was an important figure in the military. Anyways, I would be happy to accept your offer."
“Excellent, I’m glad you like my offer princess.” Crimson said happily. “I’ll send 3 Securitrons to Canterlot as soon as I possibly can.” Crimson turned the hologram to reveal his second in command A.D walking up to him. “This is A.D princess, I found her in this city when it was still occupied by Raiders. She’s my daughter and I believe that she will become a great leader like you someday, she’s your biggest fan.” A.D galloped quickly to the hologram in a wild excitement. “OHMYGOSH, PRINCESS I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS TO ASK YOU!!!” A.D said franticly. “That’s ok A.D, you can ask her all the questions you want after this meeting is over, anyway I’ve got to go, might see you soon princess.” Crimson said to the Goddess Celestria, “And about my middle name, my parents thought of it about over 200 years ago, keeping in tradition I guess. Goodbye” The Hologram closed and Crimson looked at Caesar. “Thank you for your time here Caesar.”
"Open the door!" Ecliptic yelled, standing in front of Stable 114, his birthplace and, until ten years ago, his home. "No. Go away." A muffled response came from the other side of the massive metal door. Ecliptic had tried sneaking in the way he came out but, to his displeasure, he discovered the hole had been repaired. His remaining options included trying to persuade the guards to open the door, which was not something he was good at, or blasting it off its hinges, which would require more firepower than Ecliptic was willing to risk. He sighed and said, "Look, the world has changed since I left. All the radiation and poison has been purged from the land. In fact, it's cleaner out here than it ever was in there. And when you kicked me out last time, I hadn't finished my repairs to the Stable. I'm surprised it lasted this long. Now, I know there are ponies in there that want out. I received their distress signal. I can take you all somewhere safe, if you just LET ME IN!" Silence...then, "Thphthph." Frustrated, Ecliptic turned around and kicked the door as hard as he could. "Fffff! Gahhh...ow." His body armor both increased the force and protected his leg, effectively canceling each other out. He stood still while his suit injected a concentrated healing potion into is leg to mend the bone. He waited a moment before flying out of the cave that concealed Stable 114's entrance, and headed towards his home in Junction Town.
"I Thank you for your time here, i will co-" Crimson was stopped halfway when he heard an explosion from outside the town
"That didn't sound good." Caesar said. Julion wondered around Junction Town, trying to hold on to the memory of all of what he did before the Day of Sunshine and Rainbows, maybe focusing a little too much on his travel's with Littlepip. If it wasn't for the fact that she was into mares he might have had feelings for her, or maybe that was the whiskey talking. He always has just enough in him to keep him confused on what he was truly thinking.
Ecliptic's first stop in town was the general store, where he would attempt to barter for whatever junk he picked up during his travels. He knew he was often robbed, unless he came across something rare, but he didn't mind, or at least didn't care. Ecliptic needed the caps; you could only find so many digging around trash cans. Leaving the shop slightly more disappointed than usual, Ecliptic made his way to a small pub for a drink and a bite to eat, secretly hoping that somepony would have a task for him, including the slightest touch of danger to get some adrenaline in his blood.
Julion was drinking some hard liquor in the town pub when the door opened and he saw a familiar face from his pre-Littlepip travels, "Ecliptic?" he called out.
"Julion?" Ecliptic responded to an unmistakable voice. He ran through the bar, knocking over a table in the process ("Sorry, I'll buy you another.") to the first pony he met, and was nearly killed by, in the wasteland. "Goddesses, it is you! It's been ages, how are you?"
"Let me lay it down to you plainly, BORED AS FRECKING HELL." he said, "Bloody 2's off doing a job to help expand the Commandos hold into the West, a job that I would more than love to do, but…" he took a swig of whiskey before continuing, "I'm getting old, so here I am, drowning in money, trying to see what will give out first, my heart and mind, or my liver." he then thought a little bit, "Oh, and I'm a backup/assistant to DJ-PON3 and I managed to get the Goddess Celestia and Littlepip back with the living."
After ordering his drink Ecliptic replied, "Don't I know it. I feel like an idiot for saying this, but I almost miss being shot at while doing countless favors for everyone else. The most exciting thing to happen to me in the past few years was getting an old digital music player to work. I help the Rangers when I can and try to save the morons in my Stable, but that's abou- did you just say you brought Celestia and Littlepip back to life?"
"Well Littlepip never actually died, she was just in a sort of comatose. As for Celestia, that was a whole different matter, she freckin downloaded her consciousness into the SPP maneframe. But I eventually found how to work the upload system and find a willing Alicorn volunteer for the vessel." Julion said casually, "But life will continue on as it has for the past ten years. And I'm right there with ya buddy, I miss the shooting, only I was usually the one pulling the trigger, as you know pretty well."
"Damn, that's....well it's something." Ecliptic said. Lowering his voice, he continued, "Does anyone else know about this? It's pretty big news, and I'm sure they both have enemies. Ah well. Maybe I'll meet her one day, get her to sign my copy of The Book of Littlepip" He chuckled and took a drink. "Anyways, I hope to travel around between the new settlements popping up someday. I've got quite a few years ahead of me yet, assuming my wish doesn't come true and take a turn for the worst." (I think this will be it for me tonight)
Julion have Ecliptic a weird look, "Where have you been? Everypony in Junction Town and listens to DJ Pon3's radio station knows! I announced it myself! Here have a listen!" Julion held out his Pipbuck and started playing the recorded message: "Hello ponies of New Equestria, it's me, the good ol' Soldier reporting live on a huge event that just happened in Junction Town. Would you believe me if I told you our personal guardians, Celestia and the famed Littlepip, now walk among us? Of course you wouldn't, but here's Littlepip right now to dispel all those doubts.". "Um, hello again, I guess.". "That was the one and only Littlepip, the Light Bringer, right here in Junction Town. This is the soldier, signing off for you to enjoy some sweet tunes from the one and only, Velvet Remedy."
"Huh. I thought I..." lifting his pipbuck, Ecliptic clicked on the radio and was greeted with nothing but static. "And I thought these things were indestructable. With all the radios in town I guess I never noticed. And I must have been out of town at the time. Anyways I'll fix that later. Still it would be worth my while to meet them. Do you know where they are?" he asked.
"Hold that thought; my vacation plans can wait." Ecliptic said as he finished his drink and threw down some caps. "Can't say I'm not a little excited. I've got a couple new weapons I wanted to try out."
Julion's eyes grew wide, before slamming his hoof down, "DAMN IT BLOODY 2!" he yelled, freaking out almost everypony in the pub. He instantly got down from his seat just as a Commando appeared in the doorway, "Sir?" he asked. "Get all the Commandos ready, prepare the Vertibucks, we're going West." "Stay where you are, you have the whole Commando army headed your way." Julion told the second in command of the West Division, "But be ready, because once we get there, we going to refill and then head out. We aren't going to let one escape." the Second nodded, "Yes sir, Commander sir!
Crimson woke up inside a slaver cage, he was suprised that he somehow had been captured. The Slaver force that had attacked the town were numbered in their thousands, all of them wearing a mix between sports uniform and imperial era armor. The Slavers leader, an enormous griffon was in full imperial armor, with a mask that resembled that of Legate Venquis from thousands of years ago. His securitrons were outnumbered, even through they could take out a large number of hostiles, the enemys fire power destoryed them. Crimson took out at least 596 enemys by himself unarmed, if only he had his lever action rifle..... Right next to him was Caesar or Bloody 2, asleep. Crimson noticed his suroundings, he was not in Equestria. "You're that king of diamonds everypony is talking about !" the griffon said to Crimson. "You have no idea how much your are going to sell for us, my name is Arcade. Im the leader of my glorious legion. Im very impressed about you Crimson, the storys about getting kidnapped by the Big Mountain scientists from before the war are true..." Crimson hated it when somepony refferenced his childhood. Before the war, Crimson was kidnaped by Equestrian officials and placed under experimentation in the Big Mountain research center. He was argemented to such a point that his skin was nearly industrctable and his physical and magic strength were almost unrivaled. Other argmentations that happened to him were that his reflex speed was reduced to 0.20 miliseconds and his perception was dramaticly increased (He could also watch the Megaspells detonate without damaging his eyes) He also had a prewar technology inplanted permantly inside his brain that extended his life dramaticly. Crimson was basicly inmortal, and with this "Gift" that the scientists gave him, he escaped the facility and never returned. He then found his parents killed by raiders and tracked them down to Los Pegasis. He and his securitorns then wiped the area clean and set up his new city. This was 200 years ago. "You have no idea who iam, do you you...." Crimson said in a smart but serious tone.
It took several hours before the entire Commando army entered New Los Pegasus, but it was a ghost town. Bodies were littered everywhere, "Major!" Julion called out to his third in command after Bloody 2. "Yes sir?" he asked, getting closer to Julion. "Call this attack into Celestia, thanks to the deal, whomever did this has made an enemy of Equestria, but worse for them, an enemy of me." Major nodded and galloped off, "Alright everypony, scout the area! Find any evidence of where they were taken! Being all who surrender to me, if they refuse to do so, shot them." Julion called to the army, and the order went shooting around the units, Vertibucks filling the sky as they provided over watch. Julion and his elite Alpha squad found the very building that Ceasar and Crimson fought in. The place had more bodies per square foot than anywhere else in the city. A lot had the markings of being beaten to death, and others looked as f they had simply fallen over and died, a result of the energy rifle that was standard for Commandos. As they continued on, they witnessed as the fight grew more and more desperate, before a massive hole in the building showed where Caesar(Bloody 2) activated the rifle's built in self-destruct. They made their way cautiously around the hole and into the room where the final stand occurred. Inside the probably 15 foot by 20 foot room, there was about 50 bodies all piled around. "This is where they were captured." Julion remarked aloud, "Now to see where they were taken."
"It's a pleasure to meet you." Arcade said to Crimson. Crimson then snapped the platnum cage in half like it was nothing. Arcade was suprised at his strength, but was horrified that Crimson "The King Of Diamonds" himself was about to destory his slaver army. "Pleasure's all mine..." Crimson said thowards Arcade. Crimson then punched Arcade through a wall, the griffon survived but was wounded. 10 soliders then surounded Crimson with machetes, but were defeated instantly. Crimson then woke Caesar up and handed her a weapon, a powerful handgun that was found on one of the soliders bodys. They encounted more guards and soliders, and literally destoryed them. Crimson took two katanas from two high ranking soliders bodys. They found escaping this location was easy, but were now outnumbered by thousands of soliders. Crimson then laughed at these soliders, most of them were terrorfied at what just happened. Arcade had escaped but that can wait until later. Crimson then looked at Caesar, who was quite pleased with having Crimsons help. "Sic them" Crimson said to Caesar. And the two attacked the Legions army
