Saber gt a report of the battle. Thigs where going pretty bad and all that just had started. "Damn it!" he said hitting the floor with his fist. "Not again, we can't lose Palaven!" he said after he remembered that the reapers almost took palaven during the old war against them. "This won't be an easy fight." he said, he then contacted the othere turian ships. "Brothers! As you may know, things in Palaven are not going quite good. All of this happeed before, during the reaper invasion a long time ago, but that time we managed to prevail. This is happening again, we are bing invaded by an overwhelming and unknown force, but as last time we will prevail. SHow them the power of the turian fleet!" And with that he finished his transmision to the fleet. Even though he was not as high in rank, he wqs quite known between the army and fleet. "Open a transmission with those humans, we need to know what are we fighting." He ordered a crew member. he saluted him and did as he as told.

Receiving the transmission, the captain opened it, revealing the screen from which the Turian was on, "I know you might be asking what we are dealing with. They are known as the Covenant, a religious alliance of various aliens. They believed in activating a super weapon Known as Halo, thinking it would help them embark their journeys into the great beyond. But so far they had failed to do so ad had fallen. Luckily, we had made alliance with them, yet," He looked to the old version of the Covenant, then back to the screen, "This seems to be a different form of it. They are the reason why our species had nearly gone extinct before, and had been waring with them for over one hundred years. If you want more information, contact me when we are finished here." And like that, the transmission was cut by the captain, yet, his appearance was different. He wore grey and silver Spartan III armor, and putting his helmet on, he would exit his quarters, and into one oft he Pelicans as it took off to the planet, leaving the Secondary Captain to do the rest.
"I want to take a closer look to those things." Saber said after the transmision ended. There were various things weird about what he said, like being almost extint. That he remembered the humans were never in that kind of danger, not even during the war of the first contact against them. And what was that of boing at war for a hundred years? Saber shook his head and looked to his team. "We are going to Palaven to fight along this humans and protect the planet." he said, the then sent a transmision to the admiral. "Admiral, I think it might be usefull send a ship to the citadel and inform them of this." he said. "Of course." He replied and then cut it off. One of the ships left the battle, then went to the mass relay and left for the citadel. "Now, let's go." Saber said to his team. The ship went into palaven.

Marcus and many spartans lead the into the defense of Pavilon where scorbiansmade short work of the wraith and revenants and the wardhogs defended the wolverines ass they set up for anti-air dfense, "Hold the city!" Marcus called
As the tank had taken out the Wraiths, Seraphs made an air assault upon the Scorpions, obliterating them and the soldiers. One of the Plasma Mortars had hit the Warthog, causing the vehicle to crash and land on its side. The Covenant Armada was here, over thirty six ships in space and deploying their units, over thirty six ships and still counting. They were hitting hard, relentless, and even though they had take some damage, it was not enough to keep their assault at bay. A good portion of Turian ships were destroyed, only leaving a handful of frigates and a battlecruiser.
"No!!!" Saber said now angry by the fact that theu were lossing. This opponent looked even more powerful than the reaperps, they were taking on even faster that then. "Admiral, we need to get out of here." Saber send a transmision to him. "No, this is our home and we will fight to the end to defend Palaven!" The admiral said. "But we will need help to defeat them. You will go and get it, just like Sheppard did it in the past." Saber felt... honored by this, doing what Sheppard did so long ago to save everyone, he is now going to do it. "Call the humans in there, we need to get out of here, we are going for help to destroy this... creatures." He ordered a crew member. He saluted him and sent a transmision the the UNSC ships with what he just said. They had to go in order to fight another day. Wih their current forces they would never be able to defeat them. He just hopped they agreed.

Thousands upon thousands were slaughtered, troops, civilians, and the further more. A Pelican landed where the Commander was, a team of five Spartan Threes exiting the vehicle to give him cover fire. They shot, gaining nothing but headshot's throughout their own fight. A Spartan in blood red armor went to the commander, "Come on, we're getting out of here, thats an order!" He would say vocally through the sound of his own gunfire... what this... the Captain? "This is Second Captain Daniels to all units, retreat all battle grounds, this is an order," He spoke to all units.
Saber got ready his ship to exit and lead them to the mass relay. "Once you are ready follow me." Saber said to the UNSC captain. Then the ship exited the sleath mode so they could see them.
As all had gotten in the Pelican, a MAC blast came form the Black Monarch, destroying a portion of the covenant that surrounded them. The Pelican took off at high speeds, as well as other drop ships. All that remained on the planet were the dead civilians and troops and officers, the Covenant, and a Turian Officer and a Spartan. How they will get off of the planet, they do not know. All Pelicans reported back to their UNSC Frigates, the Captain getting off and seeing a large fork-like figure near their position. The Black Monarch had followed the Saber, and to everyones curiosity, questions arose.
(The ship is called Sunrider, Saber is the alias of my oc) Saber noticed that the ships where following his ship and lead them to the mass relay. "Where do we go?" The pilot asked Saber. "Put coordinates to the Citadel." He said. The pilos nodded and did as he told him to. The relay started aligning to the secondary relays and once it was ready the ships got closer to it. It started giving energy to them and then the ships left for the citadel, leaving the Covenant... and Palaven behind.
"This seems to be a form of swifter transportation," The Captain said as he looked at what seemed to be a large, floating flower of some sort, "Where are we?" The Captain would ask in a deep, gruff tone, questioning the Turian. The Covenant did not know where their prey had gone, but for now, it would be time to put an end to this race. They buena to glass the planet, melting all cityscapes, survivors, and anyone else who had been foolish enough to fight against the Covenant. The white Spartan looked to the Turian Officer as the enemy had retreated, he knew what was going on, the glassing process. He looked to the Turian Officer, "We need to get to a place where they blasts won't hit us." "B-blasts? What do you speak of?" The Officer asked the behemoth. "They are going to destroy the surface of the planet, leaving nothing behind but ash." The Officer thought for a moment, "There is an underground bunker used for supplies, we can hid there until whatever this is done." As they left swiftly, the process and already begun, the intense heat could be felt by the two as large beams had struck the planet, melting everything. They rushed to get to that bunker, but finally, they had arrived to an airlock in the ground. The Turian Officer put in the code for the airlock and it opened, revealing a ladder, "Get in, quick!" As they entered, the Officer closed the hatch and locked it. They climbed down, all of the way down, into a dark space. The Officer turned on a light, revealing a market sized room filled with carious supplies, even ammunition and weapons, "We will remain here until this is all over... hopefully."
