(THE FLOOD!!!!!!) Marcus was shaking as he put on his helmet. "Of all things why the flood?!?!" It was obivous these cretures scared him as he covered the windows. sent from my phone using Taptalk 2
The Spartan looked to Marcus, and was not happy to see either of them, and as far as he was concerned they both should be dead, the Captain and Marcus. The Spartan looked to the Ambassador, "Is there any other way out of here?"
The embassador got up. "Overe here." He said as he moved the desk and a hidded door appeared where the desk was. Saber got with the embassador to cover him.
The Captain went with the Ambassador, but not the Spartan, and the Spartan turned to Marcus, "Leave," He said, reloading his pistols, "I have a better chance at lasting longer then you."
Andrew oppened the door and went inside, Saber following him. "Hurry up!" He said to Marcus and the Spartan, then went inside with out looking back.
Marcuseyed the spartan bu after a minute handed him an assault rifle "That will work better." he said as he jumped down the trap door
The door began to bust apart, green vein like plants growing along the walls. The Spartan aimed his assault rife, ready to hold back the line.
The door took them to some sort of maintenance floor, that fourtunately was clear. "Over here..." Andrew said. "There is a shuttle not so far from here."
"That would seem more probable, we cannot let this happen all over again like New Mombasa," The Captain replied, watching the back just in case any infected followed them. Rumbles could be felt all around them, if the military were smart enough, they would leave this place and not come back, the only thing that has the true potential to destroy the Flood officially would have to the Halo Rings, but not even the were here, and even if they were, they would kill everyone as well.
"D-destroy the citadel?!" Andrew said astonished. "W-we cant do that! We don't know if it is even posible!" He said. "Is there no other way?" Saber asked, although he knew that the answer was no.
"Not without the halo rings but they would kill everyone in the galaxy. No sentient life, means no food for the flood." Marcus said
"Yet none of them are here, which is both an upside and downside," The Captain would reply back rather quickly. He still wandered how the Flood got here, then it hit him, there had to have been an infected ship or metal or something that could have been picked up by another ship. Hopefully none of this gets worse, "I wish I knew what we could do to stop the Flood, the best thing to do IS destroy this place, even if the Covenant glasses it, it would be better then nothing."
"It is quite possible with a powerful enough weapon." Marcus said. (Now question if this is after ME 3 then aren't the Citidal AND Mass Relays supposed to be gone. I mean no , matter what i do they die.)
(Well, the Citadel was rebuilt, granted I never mentioned it at all which I sucked at. Now, no one in our group is going to die unless you want to. lol) Gunfire could be heard faintly behind the group, and then, the crash of a window. Roaring and screeching could be heard as it would get nearer and nearer, the Flood had found them.
(Well, I meant destroyed by normal means. Anyways, I want to see what you have KillStreak) They finally came out of the tunnel. Saber was the first one out to check the area.
Marcus deployed a portable cover and began picking off the oncoming flood and said "Find us a shuttle!" he yelled as he relized how many there was
A huge wave of Flood began to come down the tunnel, the numbers seemingly unlimited. As far as the eye could see, anyone could only see the creatures, some of them even having plasma weapons and weapons of other properties. The Captain was beside Marcus, shooting the great amounts of Flood and even throwing Incarnation Grenade (The ones that catch things on fire from Halo 3) and killing a small number, but it dwarfed the comparison to the infection that came their way.
"There are too many!" Sabers aid as he took the enbassador to a shuttle that was in there in case of emergency. "Lets go!" He said to the others.
