Bathroom bills don't work for the same reason gun control doesn't work. If you want to know what kind of genitals has in a bathroom, YOU'RE the weird one. Just walk in, do your business, and for the love of God, wash your hands.
Firstly, woah! I was not questioning if what the supreme court was doing was illegal or not. I was just saying that it was something out of left field for them to issue all states to legalize gay marriage. Though I don't dought a lot of talking was put into it before the action was put out. Secondly, I don't need people reading out amendments to me like I'm in 8th grade. I simply choose to not express much of my opinion, nor was I implying anything on the trans bathroom issue and I'm 100% for the LBGT community.
Huh so this happened today... https://www.buzzfeed.com/adriancarr...a-republican-party-spokesperson-leaves-becaus Ouch. And remember all that bad economics from Kansas... Well, look at who Trump picked for his economic advisers... http://www.rawstory.com/2016/08/tru...ea-party-cranks-who-destroyed-kansas-economy/ Wha? Why? Oh and then I can only assume they helped Trump with his economic speech today, which was fact checked and a LOT of things needed checking (because they were lies)... http://www.mediamatters.org/blog/20...ump-s-pathetic-economic-lies-real-time/212241
http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/trump-executed-clinton-short-circuited Reality is absurd. When historians look back at this, we all will look like fools for letting this happen. Anyone still trying to spin this is probably so dizzy that they have become nauseous by now.
The safety of the "other side" is not being jeopardized by gender neutral bathrooms and such. It seems that Trump himself hinted at this in the past. As for him changing his "tone" a bit on the issue, I think he is simply doing a bit of a "balancing act" on this issue in order not to alienate part of his heterogeneous base. The action may come off as being from "out of left field," but frankly, I support it in spite of that. While it may come off as "thorny" on the surface, we still have the issue of constitutional protections not being subject to being stripped away via popular vote. And while Trump does come off as opportunistic regarding this issue, I see a silver lining in that even his actions show that it is becoming more difficult to "sell" anti-LGBT stances to the broader public. Nothing condescending was meant by this. It is simply a source citation, just as the Second Amendment was cited here, or how weaknesses in Stein's policy background and right-libertarianism were cited above by Dragonbait. I will post more later, as I am a bit sidetracked with a project at the moment.
A large number of prominent Republicans officially declared that they do not support Donald Trump's run for Presidency and the numbers are growing everyday. https://www.facebook.com/CarolCNN/photos/a.182124688498820.42493.172143546163601/1242848535759758
"Trump calls Obama, Clinton 'co-founders' of Islamic State" - http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSKCN10M146 Trump has seriously called Obama and Clinton founders of ISIS, just a day after suggesting that gun rights people could "do something" to Hillary post election to "stop her from selecting liberal judges". Any of these comments would sink any other campaign immediately, and it seems like Trump's campaign is going off the deep end, with the closest reliable polls having him over 7 points behind Hillary, and loosing hard in swing states. Trump is being driven crazy by that I think.
Whether or not Trump has the support of "prominent Republicans" won't really matter. The fact that he isn't a part of the Washington elite is what won him the primary. He may not have the full support of the party, but he still has the support of a large number of voters. Possibly even a majority of voters.
They founded ISIS in the sense that they allowed it to happen, and that (according to some) the actions of the Obama administration were a catalyst for its creation. As for shooting Hillary to stop her from destroying our Constitutional rights? As I mentioned in the gun control thread, that is literally why the Second Amendment exists. To give Americans a way to protect themselves from people who mean the country harm.
Except Trump said he meant Obama and Hillary LITERALLY founded ISIS [Example here; Trump insists 'Obama is founder of IS' - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-36927524] And people should stop blaming Obama for abandoning Iraq. That was a Bush deal that Obama completed that hinged on Iraq having essentially diplomatic immunity to American soldiers which they understandably didnt want to offer. Also Hillary doesnt want to get rid of the 2nd Amendment, her proposed policies are universal background checks, how does that interfere with it other than making sure unstable people can't get a gun?
I'm not gonna quote the entire thing again, but remember that "shall not be infringed" means that she can't legally pass the laws she wants passed without first getting rid of the Second Amendment. Hillary is a gun-grabber. Always has been. She's made it very clear that her goal is not to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution," but to alter it to suit her whims.
You...You do realize the Supreme Court said the gun regulations are allowed right? And that's why there are even regulations in the first place? Your argument makes no legal sense as its not in the realm of the legal precedent. And on top of that, you are leaving out the bit were he outright accused our president of setting up a terrorist organization and treason, this same terrorist group he has ordered a massive air campaign against and has special forces in operation against, a policy Hillary Clinton wants to continue. Aaand on top of that, there are so many things Trump has said or done that are basically crazy and indicative of actually have a narcisstic personality. Plus, just about every argument against Hillary, Trump has done much worse. "Hillary is corrupt", Trump's "economic advisors" are a bunch of his biggest donors and not a single one of them is an actually economist. "Hillary is a liar", Trump has had uncountable lies about everything from his wealth to how he is doing in the polls to his relationship to Putin. The list goes on.
Dude, you complained about my sources before. CNS news? Really? I'm gonna have to trust Politifact and the actual quoting of legitimate sources.
Dude, I posted that link because it had the video. Also, that reaction image is bull*squee!* and you know it. Book Horse would never stop reading.
Trump: 'Fine' with trying US citizens in military courts http://www.cnn.com/2016/08/11/politics/donald-trump-military-courts-election-2016/index.html It now appears that Trump is "okay with" breaking the Constitution when it comes to due process.
US citizens suspected of terrorism. *squee!* 'em. But you're right. On this, at least, Trump is making the wrong call.
