"Ah see," Taffy said, sipping her tea thoughtfully. "Ah'm not too fond of bureaucratic ponies either."
"I like the intimate setting anyway," Arcana said as she sipped her tea. Smiling as the tea warmed her up.
"Coffee shops and bars are often fun, sometimes I go karaoke, but that's rare," Arcana said, looking back like she admitted something embarrassing.
Taffy smiled, "We held a few karaoke nights at dad's Saloon. They we're always good fun." She giggled. "At least, what ah can remember of them was fun."
"Part of the fun of karaoke is the drunken singing," Arcana said. She saw the food in the window for pick up. "Do you have a favorite song to sing?" she asked.
Taffy grinned. "Not sure sing's the right word, but ah'm for anything the audience can join in with; helps t' cover my wailin'."
The food comes hot and looking good, 3 crepes. Arcana looked at the food and smile,"This looks awesome."
Arcana eats trying to keep her manners, but she enjoys the crepes so much that she forgets her manners and dives into her breakfast with gusto.
Taffy smiled in approval at Arcana's enthusiasm as she finished off the last of her own crepes. "Shiny." She said, washing it down with a swig of tea.
Arcana finished her crepes and also washed them down with some tea. She poured herself another cup of tea and said, "Delicious, Manehattan does have some really good cooks." She waited for her tea to be cool enough to drink.
"Certainly seems to," Taffy said, nodding. "Do you cook 't all, Arcana?" She inquired, cocking her head.
"Sometimes I do, I'm not that good it though," Arcana said then blushed. "I'm able to produce something edible though and garlic is my friend. How about you?"
"Ah'm not much of a cook, but ah can bake some." She smiled, thinking back. "Ah used to bake pies for the saloon; cherry mostly, but one time a mare by the name of Applejack taught me a mean apple and cinnamon recipe."
"Sounds like a member of the Apple Family," Arcana says as she took a sip of her tea. "Ahh, just right." She looked up in the air in thought. "Had Apples as next door neighbors. The daughter was really cute."
"If your looking for that, yes. Orchid and I dated for a time." Arcana said. "She was nice and all, but I don't think city life was for her, you know what I mean?"
"I think they said she was a surprise at a family reunion at Ponyville," Arcana said trying to remember the exact words. "We parted on good terms, it just wasn't working out, you know?"
