"So, have you girls got anything else planned for today?" Asked Lemongrass, as she filed away. "Um, Ah'm not sure," Taffy replied, looking at Arcana.
Arcana, lost in thought, was aroused to attention, "huh, wha?" she wondered until she remembered what they said, "Nothing comes to mind right now," she said quickly after that.
"Well there ya go!" Taffy said, grinning. "It's important to have a plan." They passed the time exchanging more idle small talk about the weather and such until the spa ponies had finished. "All done here," Announced Lemongrass. "How do they feel?" Taffy wiggled her hooves; they felt soft and a little sensitive. "Um, yeah, they feel... good? Good job! Fine hooficuring!"
Arcana smiled, not realizing how good this feels, as she wiggles her hooves. She sits there for a moment, relaxed.
"Ok, when you're ready, you can head back to reception." Lemongrass said, as she and the other spa pony packed their things. "Thanks again!" Taffy said, as the walked gingerly back to the front desk.
Arcana almost felt like skipping and giggling while walking to the front office. Though she hopes that she doesn't become addicted to this sort of thing. "Are there really ponies that are regulars to a spa?" she questioned.
"Ah'd say so," Taffy said, looking at the advert for spa membership next to the front desk. "You enjoyed it that much, huh?"
"Oh, I enjoyed it fine, Ah'm just not sure ah could do it regular; Ah mean, Ah use ma hooves to fix things," She sat back on her haunches and inspected her front hooves. "an' now they're all... soft an' tingly." She looked at Arcana; "Ah enjoyed the rest of it though."
Arcana smiled at Taffy, then looked at the spa prices. She sighed then wrote a check out to the spa with the necessary bit total. As she was putting her stuff away, she found that her magic was just a tad bit easier. She concentrated on a bit of dark magic just for experimentation, then let it go as she was surprised that it came easier as well. Not looking to change back into a stallion right now, she walked over to the door of the spa and signaled Taffy that it was time to leave.
Taffy felt a bit guilty about letting Arcana pay for everything. She'd have to try and do a job for somepony; maybe those elevators at the hotel still needed fixing? She made a mental note to look into it when they got back. "So what d'ya wanna do now?" She asked, following Arcana out of the spa.
Arcana looked up in wonder before saying, "I honestly have no clue, I thought the spa would be interesting because I've never done it before, plus family and friends kept asking me to come. I think you should figure out something to do next for our girls day out, you're the real girl here." She said the last bit somewhat downtrodden.
"Hey now," Taffy said, sensing Arcana's tone, "You're every bit the girl Ah am, at least, anatomically speakin'." Suddenly she blushed and added; "Er, not that I've been checking or anything!" She looked away and coughed. "An' you've got sister's; Ah grew up surrounded by stallions, so you've probably got more insight into girlyness than Ah have."
Arcana smiled and then giggled, not shying away from the fact that she just did that. "Maybe, but still we would a couple of tomboys here." She smiled at Taffy, noticing the blush, but decided not to tease her about it.
Arcana smiled and looked around. She didn't think anything close to that and started to look around for places to acquire food for such a picnic. Loving the idea, she looked around surveying the area.
As they were walking, Taffy spotted a fresh food market, arranged in a little market square. "That looks promisin'" She said, pointing it out to Arcana.
Arcana smiled, looking at the market, and said, "This looks great let's find the vendors that sell the cooked foods." She takes them through the market.
Taffy's nose guided her to a pie stall where pies of all description were on offer; the apple and blackberry pie looked particularly delicious.
Arcana followed Taffy's eyes toward the apple and blackberry pie. "How much for that pie, sir?" she asked the sales pony at the stall.
