Taffy squeed, then blushed; squeeing was not something she generally did, but she was extremely happy. She gave Arcana a kiss back.
Arcana giggled a Taffy's kiss and let out a big yawn. Realizing she's rather tired, she pulled Taffy into a cuddle and closed her eyes to sleep.
Taffy smiled and brushed Arcana's (now fully straight) hair out of her face. She rested her head on Arcana's chest and drifted off into a peaceful sleep in her hooves.
Taffy awoke the next morning with a dry mouth and a head feeling several sizes too large, but waking next to Arcana was enough to forget all that. She watched her sleep for a while, lying in her hooves, before gently disentangling herself, being careful not to wake Arcana, and climbed out of the bed to get a drink of water.
Arcana woke to see Taffy drinking some water, remembering the nights events, she figured out why and giggled. As she stretched before getting out of the bed, he horn suddenly grew very dark. "Good morning," she said, feeling the tingling of her horn but dismissing it.
"It sure is!" Taffy responded brightly, before wincing. "Ooh, can we keep the volume down please? Ah seem to have a headache for some unknown reason." She looked at Arcana and smiled. Even with bed hair she looked great, "You look beautiful this mornin'," She said, softly.
Arcana's horn grew darker and started to bubble. As the tingling, became too much to ignore, she sighed. "Great," she mouthed to herself as her body glowed with the magic to change her back to a stallion. As the glow ended, Arcana sat on the bed, smiling at Taffy from her compliment. His smile turned bright as he softly responded, "Thank you, very much."
"Hmm, so... handsome, Ah guess?" Taffy amended, smiling slightly. She knew it was still Arcana, but she couldn't help feeling a little shy.
Arcana chuckled at Taffy's shyness and said, "It still counts. I recognize that even as a stallion, I'm still pretty girly."
Taffy shrugged. "Whatever makes ya happy!" She said grinning. "Now, c'n we go and get some breakfast? Ah don't know about you, but Ah'm starvin'."
"Hmm," Arcana turned as he finished brushing. "maybe, plus I think taking care of them would've just been a hassle." He opened the door and called the elevator.
