Arcana put a hoof to his mane and felt it. "They did, but I really didn't think they would last. At least my mane is as soft and silky as it was with the curls."
Arcana felt the light nature of her comment, and thought of ways to make it up to her. He stepped onto the elevator that was nearly empty and saw the lobby button was pressed.
Taffy stepped into the elevator with Arcana and enjoyed the elevator music as it took them to the lobby, it's simple rhythm helped sooth her still-throbbing head. "So where d'ya wanna go fer breakfast?" Taffy asked, as they stepped out into the lobby.
Arcana thought about it a moment, "I picked last time, how about you pick this time?" He smiled at Taffy.
Taffy blushed a little, but still hugged back; she was still getting used to Stallion Arcana again... "Any kind of waffle residence will do Ah think." She replied, with a smile.
"Sounds like a plan!" Taffy said, heading out onto the street. "Hmm, let's head back towards the Green Dragon; that seemed like a nice area. Ah'm sure there'll be somethin' suitable around there." She suggested, enjoying the sunshine, but not so much the street noise.
Arcana shielded his eyes from the direct sunlight, but enjoyed the warm glow that came with it. He cast a simple locator spell to find the Green Dragon again. Finding it, he led Taffy to the area. "Good idea," he said as they started walking, "I liked that area as well."
Taffy grinned, noticing the glow of Arcana's horn. "Ah thought ya tried not to rely on magic for everything?"
"Yeah, us poor earth ponies gotta rely on archaic methods like askin' directions, or lookin' at a map." Taffy mocked with a mischievous grin.
Arcana matched Taffy's grin with his own and whispered, "And the pegasui have us all beat as they just can just go straight there. No walking around buildings and such."
Taffy nodded and laughed "Ha ha ha, true!" She pondered for a moment. " Ah, but can't some unicorns teleport? That seems like one step better t' me!"
