Arcana thought about it for second. "I've never seen it. I guess that certain unicorns can, but I thought only the two sisters could do that," he said to Taffy.
"Eh, wha'da Ah know?" Taffy said, shrugging. "Ah'm just a simple country earth pony." They reached the courtyard which held the Green Dragon; it looked even nicer in the daylight.
Taffy blushed. "Ya really think ma accent's cute?" Ever since she'd left home, she'd been a little self-concious of her accent, especially around these fancy city folk...
Arcana smiled as Taffy kissed his cheek. He looked and saw a couple places that are open for breakfast. He turned to Taffy and asked,"Anything that looks great to you? I like the look of this entire area,"
Taffy looked at the cafés scattered around the courtyard. "That one looks nice," She said, pointing a hoof at one overlooking a fountain. "Jus' s'long's Ah don't have to push ya into the fountain again." She grinned.
Arcana laughed at that comment. "I doubt that will be needed," he said as he walked over to the café Taffy pointed out.
As they walked into the café, Taffy's eye was drawn to the large selection of cakes; they all looked great; clearly they'd choosen well. "Ah! Waffles!" Taffy exclaimed, looking at the menu as they waited in the queue.
Arcana looked at the menu and saw the waffles, prepared anyway a person wants. He licked his lips thinking the waffles. "You have chosen wisely," he said to Taffy in the deepest voice he can muster.
(It's a waffle, not the Holy Grail XD ) Taffy giggled at the silly voice. "Ah'm glad ya approve," She said. Once the ponies in front of them had finished ordering, she stepped up to the counter. "Welcome to Jenny's Café! How can I help you?" Asked the pony behind the counter, brightly. "Hi! Ah'll have the waffles, with strawberries an' maple syrup please," Taffy replied, before looking to Arcana for his order.
Arcana thought about it for a moment, "Can you make wide square waffles?" he asked the pony behind the counter. At the nod from her, he continued, "I'll takes those with whipped cream and strawberries."
"Okay, if you'll just take this," The pony said, passing them a wooden spoon with a number on it, "We'll bring your order out to you when it's ready. Make sure we can see the number though!" "Anck ooh!" Taffy said, holding the spoon in her mouth. She walked outside to one of the tables with a nice view of the fountain and the courtyard beyond and sat down. Looking about, she put the spoon in an empty milk bottle on the table.
Arcana stared at the wooden spoon for a small moment. "Well, they certainly have unique style," he said but he smiled and chuckled a bit at the spoon. A waitress pony came up to the table, "I'm sorry, I'd like to know if you would like something to drink?" she asked the two of them while staring at Arcana a bit. Arcana responded, "I'll take some coffee."
"Ah'll have a tea please." Taffy said. The waitress pony noted their order and nodded before heading back inside. "Ah like their style," Taffy said after she was out of earshot. "But them Ah've always been partial t' a good spoon..." She gave Arcana a mischievous smile.
Taffy smiled at the blush on Arcana's cheeks, but didn't press it any further. "So, ya got another concert tonight?" She asked, still trying to get a feel for her friend's schedule.
Arcana sighed. "Yeah," he said. "My last official show of my tour is tonight." he thought a bit. "I'm also planning on signing stuff that night too."
