Arcana headed into the other elevator and went up to his room. The receptionist pony said, "If you can do some thing about it, I'll gladly pay you. The repair pony we normally talk to is on vacation." He grabbed a key and put on to his desk. "Here you go, the key to the basement. Just take the first left and down the stairs into the elevator room."
"Shiny," Taffy said, picking the key up with her mouth. She headed back to the basement, and let herself down into the elevator service hatch. "Hmm" Taffy muttered, lying on her back and looking up at the workings of the elevator. "Ah ha!" She exclaimed, spotting the problem; the levitation focusing crystal had moved out of alignment. She soon had it recalibrated, and headed back upstairs to the reception, complete with oily new stains all over her coat. "Ah think that should have done it." She announced, smiling proudly and dropping the key back on the desk.
The receptionist pony pulls out a bag full of bits. "Here you go," she said, "This is the amount I promised you."
Taffy grinned. "Well this day jus' keeps gettin' better. Thank you very much!" She picked up the bag of bits and headed for the newly functional elevator. She pulled off the 'out of order' sign before getting in. As she got to Arcana's room, she realised she didn't have a key, so she knocked on the door and waited.
Arcana opened the door, smiling. "Ah," he started to say, "There you are." He quickly hugged Taffy and kissed her before getting out of her way so she could enter.
"Good t' see you too Arcana," Taffy said, giving him a smile before dropping the bag of bits on a table. She walked over to him and pushed part of his mane back behind his ear. "How's that bath coming along?" She asked, softly.
"It's done, just finished as you were knocking on the door," Arcana said as he walked towards the bathroom and gestured to the door. "It's all ready to go," he said smiling playfully.
"Perfect," Taffy said, looking into the bathroom. "Ah don't suppose you're feeling a little dirty too?" She asked, with false innocence.
Arcana smiled and gave her a long hug. "Oh, no!" he exclaimed, "I just hugged a pony who just finished a job covered in dust. I need to be cleaned ASAP." He finished speaking and soon chuckled as he stepped into the bathroom and closed the door with the two of them inside.
Taffy smiled at Arcana's antics as she slid into the tub, the water not uncomfortably hot, nor too cold; clearly Arcana knew how to draw a bath. She let out a low groan as the water soaked into her coat and relaxed her muscles.
Arcana, happy that there is enough room for the both of them in the tub, slid into the bath. Feeling the hot water relaxing his muscles. "Does it feel right for you?" he asked Taffy.
Taffy Smiled. "Everything about this situation feels right to me, Arcana," She slid over, leaning back and resting her head on Arcana's chest.
Arcana wrapped a foreleg around Taffy and pulled her in closer to cuddle. He kissed her on top of her head as sank into more of a relaxed state, loving the position they were in.
Arcana threw another foreleg around Taffy and pulled her closer. Boldly, but gently, he deeped his on kiss with her.
